The online application submission process starts from 29 September 2020 and going to close on 20 October, 2020. Chandigarh Forester Recruitment 2020-21 Notification

• Total Forester Jobs – 06 Posts
• Pay Scale – Rs.10300 – 34800/- with grade pay of Rs.4400/-
• Probation Period : 03 Years on Fixed Monthly Emoluments.
• Educational Qualification : Passed 12th Class with the following two subjects – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Agriculture OR Second Division matriculate with certification from ITI in Surveying / Draughtsman (Civil)/ Civil Engineering obtained from a recognised institute.
• Age Limit : 18 to 37 years as on 01 September, 2020. Upper age limit is relaxable for OBC, SC, ST Categories as per the govt of India Rules.

Chandigarh Forest Guard Vacancy 2020-21 Details

• Total Forest Guard Jobs – 14 Posts
• Pay Scale – Rs.10300 – 34800/- with grade pay of Rs.3200/-
• Probation Period : 03 Years on Fixed Monthly Emoluments.
• Educational Qualification : Passed 12th Class or matriculation with Diploma in Surveying / Draughtsman (Civil) / Civil Engineering obtained from recognized institute.
• Age Limit : 18 to 37 years as on 01 September, 2020. Upper age limit is relaxable for OBC, SC, ST Categories as per the govt of India Rules.

Mode of Selection

• The Merit list for selection will be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained in Objective Type Test. Objective type test of 80 marks will be conducted and Qualifying marks for test will be 40% for all candidates. No Interview will conducted.
• There shall be a probation period of three years.
• Candidate who have qualified written test will be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) followed by Medical Examination Test (MET).
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET) to be done by the Department of Forest and Wildlife, UT, Chandigarh. However, Medical Examination Test (MET) will be done by the Board of Doctors of Government Multi Speciality Hospital (GMSH), Sector 16, UT, Chandigarh.
• Final Merit List to offer appointment (category wise) will be prepared against the vacant posts for the candidate in order of merits who qualifying both PET & MET.

Written Test Pattern

Written test consisting of Multiple choice questions will be conducted as under:-

• Total no. of question 80
• Total marks 80
• Exam Duration 2 hrs.
• No Negative Marking

Chandigarh Forester Physical Test Details

Only successful candidates in order of merit based on written examination shall be called for physical test and it will be conducted by the Department of Forest & Wildlife, UT., Chandigarh.

The detail of physical standard is as under:-

(Male)

• Height: 163 cms
• Chest: 79 cms without expansion & 84 cm with expansion
• Walk: 25 kms in 4 hours.

Female:

• Height: 150 cms
• Chest: 74 cms without expansion and 79 cm with expansion
• Walk: 14 kms in 4 hours

• For General / OBC – INR 300/-
• For SC/ST/Female – INR 200/-
