Candidates who are interested to apply for MTSE 2023 Examination will have to check first following eligibility criteria details for Maharashtra Talent Search Examination:

• All the students who are studying in Class 8th, 9th & 10th in Government Approved Board/ Schools are eligible to apply for MTSE Exam 2023. To appear for MTSE 2023 at Class IX & Class X is not compulsory to have appeared at MTSE Class VIII  & Class IX / VIII respectively. The preparation for MTSE examination is very helpful and useful as a preparation of National Talent Search Examination. Because majority of MTSE qualifier students clear the NTSE examination every year.

Application Fee – MTSE 2023

• Applicant should send Rs.200/- as application fee which include Rs.150/- + Rs.50/- Postal charges.
• If the application from is taken from recognized co-ordination or demanded by the school then application fee Rs.150/- for each student.
• If the application form is purchased from MTS Office / Coordinators Rs.150/- each.
• Candidates can also obtain the application form through Post, by sending the amount by M.O. / Demand Draft in favor of Hon. Director, Maharashtra Talent Search Examination, Pune, payable at Pune. The authority will not accept cheque. Candidate should have to provide their name, residential address and standard through DD / M.O. while sending it through post.

How to Apply for MTSE Exam 2023?

The application form submission mode is offline for MTSE Exam 2023. Eligible candidates can obtain the application form from Headmaster / Principal of School otherwise they can also download it from official website. Candidate will have to send dully completed & signed application form to the centre at the time of submission of filled forms. Candidate should provide all details correctly and send it before the closing date.

MTSE 2023 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of MTSE examination is similar to the NTSE Examination. The written examination include the two written papers and exam duration is 03 hours only. Questions in written test will be of 01 mark each and format of question will be multiple choice objective based.

• Paper I : Mental Ability Test (100 Questions) – 90 Minutes
• Paper II – Scholastic Aptitude Test SAT (100 Questions) & 90 minutes.

Questions will be asked from Science – Physics, Chemistry, Biology (40 Questions) and Social Science – History, Geography, Civis, Economics (40 Questions) and Mathematics – Algebra, Arithmetic, Geometry – 20 Questions.

MTSE Exam 2023 Syllabus Details

• Paper I – Mental Ability Test Syllabus: In this section mental ability of student should be checked and level of questions is slightly higher difficult with compare to Standard 8th.
• Paper II : Scholastic Aptitude Test Syllabus: In this section syllabus will be same as the school syllabus of Class 8th, 9th & 10th for whole year.
• Interview Round: The authority will conduct any interview for Class 8th & 9th. Interview round will be held only for 10th class students which carrying 50 marks.
